Hope so Andrew, but then I seem to recall saying that last year ;)

Re: 2.8i Special bodywork starts

Just a quick update, I've added a few pictures (above), to show some progress is actually being made, must be the most long winded body repairs this year :) . Capri is getting close now to getting a final detailed rub down & initial coat of primer to check for any imperfections, then on with the...

Re: Anglia Car Auction Results

Just noticed the Orange 3.0S & the green 1.6S sold at this auction are now for sale at the same dealer (BSC in Oxfordshire) for a substantial mark up. Where have we seen that before :D If the auction sale price was what the public valued them at, why do dealers think that they're worth thousands...

Re: Capri Spotted

it's always a treat to see a Capri out and about. Great looking mk2, like the vinyl roof (&the seat covers ;) ), as Mike said, you don't see them on the road. My wife went to a DIY store this week & surprised me by texting me a picture of this mk1 parked outside. Amazing to see one this unm...

Re: Anglia Car Auction Results

Thanks for the link Andy. Some great Capris for sale here. It's amazing that the buying public valued the x-pack replica to be higher than the genuine 3.0S. They both look stunning cars, it shows what a quality conversion and good looks can do for a sale price.

This looks so good it could be a set of press photographs when Ford first launched the Capri. Rostyle wheels really suit a Mk1, you've done an excellent job on this car, nice one.

Love this car, you can see the effort put into it, it looks good in black & what a difference the later style alloys make to the overall look. Nice one, a great looking car, enjoy.

Re; St Fagans E444TYA nice looking car,was it with the XROC? That's Radiant Red mines Rosso Red being a early Mk4 Car. Wasn't parked by the club so assume it wasn't with them, looked good though and I like the eighties grey interior, which again was in good shape. Owned a Mk4 Orion Ghia for a while...

Must have been sleeping, didn't realise you'd bought a new car. Great looker Andy, what a find with that mileage, fancied one that looked just like it in my St Fagans post. Thought you didn't have any more room in your bedroom for anything else :D
Enjoy it mate, looks a nice one.

Hi Nick, seeing all those Capris in a show would have made it for me, all the other cars would have been a bonus :D Weather was stunning too, brings out all the best cars. That x pack capri looked moody in dark green, wouldn't mind owning that along with that brown mk3 cortina. Not colours I would n...

Some great Capris in the NI club, they all look very well presented. Have to agree with Andrew on a previous post on how good orange looks on an S Capri, that first one looks really vivid. Yours & the one in white look superb as well. A great set of Capri pictures, cheers for posting.

Don't like the wheels and must be like all old fords comes with an oil leak unless there is another reason for the hardboard under the front of the car?? I agree, got a thing for this colour but polished 4 spoke RS's would suit much better. Good looking car though, wonder if the hardboard comes wit...
