pbar wrote: Fri Apr 12, 2024 8:10 pm Are you guys aware of the Professionalmania releases? The twin pack at the bottom right of the pic is the latest, soon to be available.

Thanks for the heads up.
I have the single car. Is the twin pack a limited edition too?

Re: New Professionals Model

I was a little worried that the quality and detailing might be poor on Model Car Group's models as they are significantly cheaper than Minichamps or Norev 1/18 scale models. I bought an RS2600, just to see what they were like. I needn't have worried as they look to be fine, and are good value for mo...

pbar wrote: Thu Mar 21, 2024 10:08 am There's been an update for this, now due to be released in April, in the UK at least, about time!
Has your dealer received their stock of these yet?
A website I looked at says they are now due for release in August. However, some European based websites are listing them as in stock.

Fantastic! That's from 1966, so that must be one of the earliest?

Re: Party Time!

Watching the Birdie Song made me wonder which recording artist was the first to wear disguises on stage?
Daft Punk and Deadmau5 probably think they are cutting edge by wearing masks, but The Tweets were doing it over 40 years ago!

Re: Party Time!

You know, any event you have to go to, wedding, party, BBQ, works do, and so on, then you're almost guaranteed a certain list of songs, and these two would be on it! You certainly couldn't go anywhere in the 80's without hearing these. The Birdie Song especially brings back memories of being reluct...

Re: Capri Club Website

I usually use Edge with Windows 10 OS on a desktop, but I've just checked using Chrome on an Android tablet and also using Edge/Windows OS on a phone (yes, really!) and they both work fine too.

No bobbins here, how bizarre!

No, I've never heard that expression before!
I looked it up and it's, apparently, regional Manchester and Lancashire slang meaning worthless or rubbish.

71 mph is above the limit but within the law I'm sorry to be a pedant, but that statement is contradictory. It isn't legal to drive at anything above the speed limit. I believe that you are correct when you say that most Police forces in the UK don't enforce any infringements if within 10% and 1 MP...
