....which is exactly what he's saying, on at least two sets of lamps and bulbs. Granted it *is* unlikely that that is what is happening here, but it's certainly not impossible.Not_Anumber wrote: 1. Each bulb would be running on half the voltage so would not be adequately bright (unless you used 6 volt bulbs)

Re: Anyone know anything about HID's?
Maybe they're wired in series rather than parallel? Half power to each? I think that's probably unlikely, but you never know!! (I'm assuming parallel would be hoe they're wired from the factory?)

Pretty sure stuff was equally shit back then, you're all just looking through rose tinted specs. There was still crime, poverty etc. People have always been people, so there were just as many selfish/sadistic/stupid people back then as there were today. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosy_retrospection

Might be an obvious thing to point out, but pressures will read differently at different temperatures iirc

Companies offer incentives to get your business. If they're not willing to offer incentives to *keep* your business (without you having to ask) then it's best to vote with your feet imo.

Nice to see you back Bug, just a shame it had to be in a BMW!!! (Although I approve of the bold colour choice, I get bored of all the monochrome cars around - doesn't help that my last 4 cars have gone silver, grey, black, black! )

A good example being the bonnet, didn't like it plus I couldn't see apex on left handers, now gone.

Pbar yes would love his details as it’s only the side stripe and laser badge I need , also yes I use transparency paper for large clocks but never new they did the soak in water type so may have a look . Re: Wheels Help
Wheel diameter doesn't matter. What matters is what tyres you put on, and the width and offset you use. E.g. with the same width and offset, and an appropriate tyre, it will have almost identical proportions : http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=205&aspect=60&diameter=13&wheelwidt...

Re: 18” wheels on a mk3 Capri with xpack
Yes 18" wheels are possible, clearance issues will depend on wheel width, offset and how low you want to go. I run 18's although I still think they look a bit too big on a Capri, for me it's a case of needs must as anything smaller won't fit over the 360mm discs and 6-pots, plus there's an end...

280. Same as standard except for worse wheels, horrible paint colour, naff decals and a boring interior.

Thanks for the info and the pics mctool. Interesting idea with the rad. Which rad are you using? I'd love to see pics of it in situ if it's done already! Hi Mate, Don't bother putting a boring, under powered Rover in it - lot of grief for not much more power than a V6, speaking from experience try a...

I've just checked the part number on a Capri one here and it is different to the ones quoted. I don't think it will work but I may be wrong. I do know that early MK2 and MK3 are wired differently, they will plug in but don't work. Hmm, if i ever take the dash apart enough to test it i'll report bac...
