Re: My 1975 3.0 Ghia Manual

Hi,
Thanks for the recommendation for the Burton mount. The Tickover one is more expensive, but they say it's genuine Ford, whereas Burton don't. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Re: wanted Ford Capri £3000 budget

When I sold my Alfa last January, it was 31 hours after I placed the advert and it was the first person to view that bought it. But the advert did not say first to see will buy :) Hi Mike, That's where you went wrong, it may have sold in 30 hours if you had wrote that in the advert! All the best, A...

Re: lightening strikes

Hi All,
Each year in Britain 30 to 60 people are recorded as being struck by lightning, 3 of whom, sadly, die.

Oh yeah? Which one was the unlucky one that had to sit in the car, or did the use a test dummy? You could say that they were a test dummy anyway!

Hi Neil,
It does look like a good car. Although I do hate it when sellers write "first to see will buy".
Does that ever actually happen? I've never sold a car and the first person to view it has bought it....

Re: My 1975 3.0 Ghia Manual

Yes specially the gearbox rubber mount made a big difference Hi, What sort of vibration were you getting before you changed the mount? Was it progressively vibrating more the faster you went, or was it at a certain speed or RPM? Also, what was vibrating, the whole car or just the gear lever? Thanks...

Re: lightening strikes

Isnt it the safest place to be inside a car during a storm? In theory, as the car acts like a partial Faraday cage you should be able to withstand lightening strikes. However, you should not be in contact with any metal items such as door handles, steering wheels, gearstick etc. I still wouldn't li...

Hi All,
Nice Laser, but is the owner French?
Under the "condition, used" section they've wrote "Non". I guess that should be "oui" anyway. :)

I think the highest bid will be over £3K.
