Re: Gear lever gaiter brown vinyl - and quickshift
Ha! Is it that flexible?? Wonder if I could recolour it with vinyl-kote? Just checked the HFVP description and it says; Penetrates surface & gives permanent colour finish and suitable for use on internal trim, plastic bumpers and wing mirrors. Not suitable for leather or upholstery Maybe worth ...

Re: Gear lever gaiter brown vinyl - and quickshift
Hi Noel,
Have you thought of using a tin of Halfords Flexible Vinyl Paint on the gaiter, in Light or Dark Grey? Nick is the expert on this
I have used it too, it is good stuff.

Re: Look what I spotted today...
There are a lot more compromises to safety that can make the driving experience somewhat worse. Yeah, agreed, they're so much heavier that 130 brake doesn't do anything. I had a 4x4 in the wrong lane at a roundabout, on my right, trying to turn left last year... and he honked me to move.... but I c...

What a group! They had their own dancer didn't they (Stacia, think that's her in the pic), and had concerts which lasted all night. And probably still do. This is an incredible addictive website. Thanks for making me waste so much time, Andy! The flight paths that some of these planes take is amazing. I'm currently looking at a flight from Istanbul to New York that is flying over Iceland! :headscratch: Is the pilot lost, or what? Andrew. ...

Re: Look what I spotted today...
If there weren't as may safety devices, maybe people would drive better? Interesting thought, but I doubt it. People seem to be so inconsiderate these days, and they are also in such a hurry, I think they will always take ridiculous risks to save those precious few seconds of their valuable time. A...

Re: Look what I spotted today...
Not sure modern cars are complete plops, but there are a lot more compromises to safety that can make the driving experience somewhat worse. And the weight has gone up a lot on your average modern car. This makes even the heavier V6 Capris seem light and nimble by comparison. Some modern cars I pre...

I never actually had these, but many did back then, always reading about Dennis The Menace and the like setting them off in the comics. Re: 4500 mile Laser
Maybe it's the problem with some low mileage cars That's probably it Andy, yes. The old 'too good to drive' thing perhaps? :agree: If it had done no miles (Very Unlikely) that's one thing, if it has 10 miles do you just carry on driving it as intended? Not sure the point in keeping mileage low if i...
