Valve Seat Recession questions

..my car is having trouble starting (again). It does not like turning over, as if the ignition timing is out and it's kicking back. The timing isn't out, the distributor weights aren't sticking. It is suffering from VSR a little though and needs regapping now (I am saving to get unleaded valve seats...

Re: Public Information Films

Ok couldn't find the Aid Edmundson documentary on PIFs, but this Charlie Brooker episode is nearly as good, he talks about the history of PIFs and why fearmongering works on us:

Re: Weirdest Cortina I've ever seen!

It needs to go in a Museum or converted back to standard and the bits displayed in a museum. I am sure it has been for sale for a long time, why would you buy it? For that money you could buy the best Cortina not some one off that you are going to struggle with. Yes I think a museum's a good place ...

Re: Nicest Granada I've ever seen

There is a Granada Ghia Estate that appears at a local Classic car show most years, fully loaded even with A/C. he has never driven it in the rain and it does show. He was telling me he has purchased rare extras from all over Europe for it. I cant remember the exact mileage but it is very low and h...

Re: Weirdest Cortina I've ever seen!

The seller doesn't say much about the history of it, but the interior looks like one of those "behold the safetycar of the future we will all be driving in ten years" Tomorrow's World kind of thing. Like you'd see some ladies getting in the back, dressed in the height of 2000s fashion (as ...

I wonder if the 666 plate could put some potential buyers off?

Andrew

Weirdest Cortina I've ever seen!

..look at this "safety development" Cortina. Really bizarre thing, like it has permanently deployed airbags surrounding the interior.

You`d think it would at least check the spelling though :D Customers like the quality, value, performance, and weight of the drill. For examp...
