Brake shoes/cylinder recommendations

Did the rockers the other day and did the timing belt, fresh 20w50 in and new oil filter today, and she has livened up :burnout: .Inspected the shoes and there's still some meat on the shoes,it's just the springs have aged. Re: Make steering easier / adding power steering

Getting in and out of cars is my biggest issue and finding good parks became an art :D . Before the chop I needed to get the car door right open to gain access ,you'd be surprised just how many ignorant cnuts there are out there (you may not ...actually ;) ) who park so close I can't get back in .....

Re: Cabaret underside footage

Thats a fine looking workshop you got there and to have a 4 post lift must be very useful indeed, especially when working underneath. How lucky are you !!! Good luck with the work on your Capri mate. For a daily use classic it really is in very decent condition. You don't see many Cabaret Capris th...

I did the valve clearances today and all rockers had no gap, except cylinder 4 exhaust. Still a bit tappety,I think, unless it's just my head :D

What a lovely pair!!!

 I thought this will get your attention :D https://i.imgur.com/U7KXrca.jpg Mondeo horns installed. The OE one was dying, just a squeal sound. Also, the windscreen washer pump wasn't working,so I checked the ground first,as the loom might be at fault. I took off the earth wire to the pump, and used...

Overall I`m sure it`s fixable. Can you fabricate/weld? I'd say 90% of the shell is solid, considering it was someones...

Re: Fan Belt size

Incorrect...I put an 875mm on. I did buy an 865mm at the same time, because the old V-belt had 875mm on,but I couldn't tighten it up,as the adjustment bar was at it's limit. The 865mm is in the boot. Although is suitable
