Ok thanks for the reply I’ve no idea if it’s got a connection for a iPod. Ive took a better picture this time. How do you bench test it.

P21 radio wiring

Hi does anyone know how to wire a p21 radio there’s spade connections on the back but don’t know what is live or ground. Thanks

Mk5 escort fuses

Hi I was putting the starter motor back in but never disconnected the battery. Now am hoping I’ve blown as nothing works now. I’ve checked the fuses in the car and they were fine. There’s also 3 fuses 60amp ones in a separate fuse box connected to the battery. Any ideas what other cars these fuses m...

The belt is about 1mm away from the edge of the tensioner bearing is this ok thanks.

Got the belt tensioned now thanks. I’ve still got a problem that the belt moves forward on all the pulleys. When it’s started up don’t if this is ok or not.

Timing belt

Hi I’ve changed the timing belt and tensioner with a QH kit. But the belt seems to slack. The engine runs ok but If wanted to I could pull the belt of the tensioner. Any help thanks

Hi I bought a new clutch kit from burtons. When trying to get the old release bearing off I had twist it with grips to get it off. The new one looks the same as the old one so I tried it on before fitting the clutch fork and the same problem doesn’t want to come off and I ended up breaking the tabs ...

Timing out

Hi just changed the timing belt everything lined up before the belt got changed. But when I turned the engine over by hand I never tighten the belt tensioner down so think belt has slipped. Now the dizzy and moon and mountain line up but the crank pulley is out what will I do now. Thanks
