It sounds like your compressor isn't powerful enough and tank not big enough to run air tools like a sander. If its a baby 2hp 24litre like mine then its only just good enough for spraying.

That's coming along very nicely Peter. A resprayed engine bay is a satisfying transformation indeed!

I used the granada throttle cable by adapting it to fit the capri pedal and drilling the hole in the bulkhead a little bit larger.
