Insaniac!!!
<t>I don't have anything against Volvos or anything but to mod an old 240/244 is a dangerous business. Like you said, it could look very good, or it could look extremely bad. There's no middle ground. A mush in Darlington had one when I was at college, blue with blacked out windows, 244 GLT alloys a...

No its not ok after all!!!
I should never have doubted you all! It does, however, appear 'piss' is an acceptable word. I hope this insane censorship does not extend to the chatroom, or we'll never know what each other are saying!

Re: What models had leccy windows?
<t>None had leccy windows as far as I know, except the Tickford, and you aint likely to find one of them you can take the bits off down your local scrappy!!! Not sure about the mirrors tbh. If you want leccy windows I believe its fairly easy to fit them. Think you can get a kit actually, or use part...

Re: Goodbye Granada
<t>Yeah, its sad to see it go. Unfortunately, my own Granada is in danger of going the same way, no one wants them!!! Can't believe the guy wouldn't pay you for it. Me and a mate weighed in a Xantia recently, with a few parts missing, and the guy gave us 70 for it. He said if he'd picked it up it wo...

Cheers guys
<t>The entire ignition system is new, except for the distributor itself. The guy I bught it off changed everthing when it wouldn't start the day I went to pick it up. As it happens it was a fueling problem but never mind. I'll check the plugs etc. out anyway, but I think you might be right about the...

Ha ha... that is hilarious...
If a little strange. My Capris have, I admit, been involved in some 'encounters', but there's never just been me and them alone, if you know what I mean. LOL.

Good condition for age....
Love this one. I mean, not many cars reach 20+ years old, so really anything Capri wise left in existence is in good condition for it's age when you think about it. Wendy Richards is probably in good condition for her age, but you still wouldn't, would you.

Ignition....
<t>Over the years I have posted a quite a few questions regarding ignition problems. For example, "the ignition/steering lock won't release", or (more commonly) "the car wont start". So, after all the time I have spent on my various Capri's variously problematic ignition systems, I thought I could d...

Re: Cars in Washy!
I'm sure I saw that white 2.8 in Sunderland when I was driving the LS a few years back. It took off when he/she spotted me behind them, couldn't keep up, obviously... Nice to see some up our way.
