Hi all I was hoping someone could help. I believe thd bit I am after is known as a fuel pipe elbow please excuse if not! It fits next to the fuel filter on an Essex 3 litre engine. Thanks for all the help. Tt confirmed it's the 2 stage boost related hoses/device. All sorted n serviced ready for a good rip down the m40 on way home!

Thanks Andy. These seem to be cloth insert from what I can see in d pics.

Delivered car to turbo technics today.

One of the guys who will be doing the bits n pieces has been with the firm from inception and was actually involved in developing /fitting the original kits back in the 80s!

Seems as though it is the boost controller.

BTW I meant the f16 kit not f9

Apparently it's to do with the boost switch on the f9 tt kit which switches between 200 n 230bhp

Does anyone know if Dr Brooklands visits/participates on thus site as apparently the previous owner bought it off a guy who bought it off Dr Brooklands? ?

The bits shown are located/affixed to the passenger side wing.

Errrmmmm no idea at the moment but on weekend when I get time I'm going to try n follow where the pipe goes. I never knew turbo technics do servicing/maintenance work! I called them today and asked whether they would give my 280 tt the once over as the car is doing funny things when the turbo/engine...

Why don't you simply trim off the split end , reroute the pipe slightly and just reconnect it? Thanks but tried doing exactly that but it's not long enough to reach. Does it look similar to anything on a standard 280 / 2.8i engine? Or related specifically to a turbo technics kit (230bhp version). A...
