Re: Heater resistor question.

hi i had the same issue, my resistor fell apart to. I looked at alternatives, but decided to keep to one speed, be careful of the heat produced as the current produced is quite high, and for the sake of a lower speed you don't want to risk a fire. current approx. 5-6amps 12volts divided approx. 2 ohms

Andrew

yes you are correct with the colour, I spent quite a bit at mirage, tank straps etc.. Thanks for your comments, I've gone the whole deal and sent my seats off for re-upholstery in full grey original colour leather so looking forward to seeing how they look.

Re: new wheels

James,

Make sure all wheels have the same offset, measure from inner hub face to extremity of inner and outer wheel, they may have sent you different type of wheel.

Also double check if you have old wheels, fit and see if you have the same issue.

Door glass removal

Hi all

I would like to change my door window guide felt rubber seals, hence removal of the window is required. Any tips on this would be appreciated please - mk3 2.8i.

The manual says drill the rivets out which holds the winding gear - is this the only option?

Hi all

Can anyone advise on the type of coolant suitable for my 2.8i. I have been to Halfords and there is silicate free organic type coolant (pink) or silicate based antifreeze coolant (blue)
