Re: 280 value

That is a bit vague, but here's how I see it. When I bought mine it was in fair condition bodywork wise, but a mess mechanically, albeit it was texed and MOT'd. Re: Suspension clonk

Check the inner track control arm bushes, worn inner bushes if they were bad enough could be the cause of your steering wobble, and if it pulls to the left or right on braking, can be mistaken for a brake problem too. :)

Re: 280 Brooklands

I didnt have to take the engine out but I wanted to so I could paint the engine bay, (see the pics with the engine out), and clean up the engine itself, paint the block, inlet manifold, manifolds, brackets, rocker covers etc etc etc.

Re: 280 Brooklands

Re: Capri Mixture

Yeah thats a great help and much appreciated. Interestingly autodata reckons the Co2 should be 1.5+or- 0.2???

It certainly runs better a bit higher than that as you have suggested. I am presuming this is not overly rich causing a valve problem in the future?

Capri Mixture

Hi, I have a 280 Brooklands that I have restored. However I have run into a bit of an issue. The car began to run rough when hot, and when triving along the road the car was kangeroo'ing a bit when coasting along with no acceleration. Timing is bang on, I am thinking either warm up regulator or mixt...
