Loving this car!!!!! I wasnt sure on the white wall tyres to start with but as I looked through the pictures they grew on me!! :)VERY NICE!! sadly the engine bay pics with the cologne engine are not loading for me!

Check the inner track control arm bushes, worn inner bushes if they were bad enough could be the cause of your steering wobble, and if it pulls to the left or right on braking, can be mistaken for a brake problem too.

I guessed that it was low mileage....as from the pictures it still has the original Cinturato Pirelli's. Don think you can buy them any more??

I didnt have to take the engine out but I wanted to so I could paint the engine bay, (see the pics with the engine out), and clean up the engine itself, paint the block, inlet manifold, manifolds, brackets, rocker covers etc etc etc.

haha yeah I know, i didnt do a lot with it for a couple of years... priorites elsewhere (bought a house!!) but I didnt see the point in starting a new thread!

So, it's been rather a long time since I updated any of this if I am honest, but at last the car is now complete again, and running well. Engine has beein completely stripped and rebuilt, engine bay painted, engine block and ancilliaries painted and cleaned, gearbox rebuilt, bonnet and tailgate pain...

Yeah thats a great help and much appreciated. Interestingly autodata reckons the Co2 should be 1.5+or- 0.2???
It certainly runs better a bit higher than that as you have suggested. I am presuming this is not overly rich causing a valve problem in the future?

Hi, I have a 280 Brooklands that I have restored. However I have run into a bit of an issue. The car began to run rough when hot, and when triving along the road the car was kangeroo'ing a bit when coasting along with no acceleration.
