Re: Fitting kenlowe electric fan in 2.8i

Yes, you`re right, it`s just a one way valve in essence. Although as it seems some unknown forces are at play, I`d fit as close to the source/fusebox as possible. Thank you mate, that's as I thought. Been an interesting thread this, been following it all the time. Clever idea of yours regarding fit...

Re: Fitting kenlowe electric fan in 2.8i

I`m assuming the OP HAS tried disconnecting the fan to prove the issue lies there? That went through my mind too! I would say so yes, as it's mentioned that it only happens when connected to a fuse box spare terminal. Does it matter where in the circuit the diode is fitted? I assume wherever it's p...

Re: Fitting kenlowe electric fan in 2.8i

Would a diode simply be hiding the actual cause of the running on though? If it's a solution great, but can't help but think it might be better to find out what's actually causing it? Just thinking out loud that's all! I find it interesting that it only over runs when connected to a fuse box spare t...

They're cleverly marketed too, you put 'Sports' in the name of something and everyone wants it. Just look at sportswear.

Hope you're having a great time Peter!

I think that in the main, it's the fad aspect of it and the keeping up with the Joneses. Neighbour comes home in a big shiny status symbol and it spreads.

'Complete body and interior restoration needed', it is nice to see such honesty though isn't it. Looks like a nice car at first glance!

Re: MK1 on ebay

Difficult to say isn't it. Also hard to tell just how bad that is from the pics, could be just a large area of flaky paint, or far worse.

I am familiar with his work, and A New England is a song I know, he's certainly a popular artist and has been for some years. Hard to believe he's now 66!

Although he's never been an artist I've been into, I've just read a bit more about it and it does look like a good read.

Re: Capri For Life

It's the pop art kind of style which seems quite popular still in the UK, notice it quite a bit, especially with popular culture and iconic things.

Re: Capri Assembly Line

Very good points. In addition to this, there are more people than ever in the country now, and constantly increasing, we all need somewhere to live don't we. New estates, housing complexes, apartment conversions, all seems to be full straight away, many sold even before they are built.
