Hi folks ,iam starting a bit of a resto on my 280 my question is,I have new springs to go on rear do I need the flat rubber pads that go in the centre of the Spring,I was going to get a set and it was suggested that you don't need them on single leafs thanks ,

When I said rollover jig,what I meant was what you described ,not one with the big hoops you rollover I posted a question on an other form (cp) and a kind gent has replied with some very handy pic ans sizes ,that you can see what is involved,hope this helps ,

Hi guys, I am going to build a rollover jig for my 280 ,has anyone done one before, some pics or measurements would help ,I know you can buy them for under £300 ,but I like making stuff,any help would be much appreciated,Paul.

Hi guys , dash lights are very dim even with the dimmer up full ,what's the best bulbs to replace with and is it possible to keep the dimmer switch working many thanks ,

Going to fill car up I have additive to put in ,with this added dose it matter what petrol I put in ,thanks guys .

Hi guys , yes it was the discs so new discs and pads fitted and a good 100 mile run twisted roads loads of braking with no problems thanks to all ,

Hi guys , my sender unit is not working ,dose anyone repair these , have done the usual checks crossed the wires and reads full , tank was half full and reading nothing on the gauge,so I topped up the tank to full and it never left the red thanks guys ,

Hi folks ,Drives fine then touch the brakes and wobbles foot of the brakes all fine ,had a wee check of the discs but they look on OK ,could it be wheel balance or the rack ,thanks guys

Hi there ,nice to hear from you , yes the guy I bought it of passed all the folder and history on to me with the newspaper, nice to have the history of the car ,yes the corrosion on the wheel arch is still there sadly the 2front wings have suffered also ,the roof is very good as is the floor ,boot ,...

Just put new bulb in and now with a new battery w have now got 13.9 when car running, when I put on the lights and rear window heater and blower it's now reading 13.6 , is my alternator still gone or voltage regulator , thanks Paul .

Hi I done this a few years ago ,can't remember adding to loom I think the wires may be there maybe one from the coil for rev counter ,it was 30 years ago
