Why don't you get the transit 205 block rip it to bits and have it rebored to take 93mm pistons, have the head skimmed 40thou and a high lift cam you will have a peppy little engine then

Get a 4 branch then pop to a local powerflow (Or whatever they are called in your area and get a stainless made on your car, that way you won't get fitment/catching issues, it's guaranteed for life and you can control how loud they make it by telling them what you want

As with bike carbs I'd just be getting some from a 600cc bike a zx6r or cbr600 would be perfect and manifold to suit get some main jet of roughly 150 or 160 that should see your fuelling about right i would get the fuel pump from the same bike as they self regulate, failing that get a facet cube pum...

When mine was on road I used it all weather's and it got places most cars couldn't, I got some funny looks from people as I passed them while they were stuck

Not touched my capri as its at my mums but I've been working out on the drive on other stuff, fitting hydraulic handbrake, fitting exhausts and changing brake calipers etc im not lucky enough to have a garage either
