You can easily avoid it, bury your head in jobs you want to do on your car and go out for a drive

Check the connection at the back of the speaker to make sure it's clean and tight etc I suspect there is a poor connection there causing your issue

A lot of time people refer to it as a sandwich plate

If the car has been always undersealed then it is good to top up for a time. But at somepoint, it is best to look underneath and see what it really looks like.
