Hi there, does your rev counter stop working when you press the brake? My advice is check fuse connections and fuse condition as I have come across this in the past as being the cause of the fault. Hope this helps

I know exactly what you mean, I have out driven alot of faster cars in my capri that simply should've wiped the floor with the old girl, I put it down to my driving ability mixed with a great car alot of these hot hatch drivers think a fast car makes up for an inability to drive well
