I'm not surprised, your budget doesn't seem a lot for the work that's being done. As they say, plans are made to be broken........

Glad to hear that you've toughened up enough to get your Capri ready! It's now in tip-top condition for our inspection at Simply Ford!

Hi,
I also like the speedo calibrated in KPH. It's better for your ego when your speedo shows a maximum of 220!

Now you've done it once, it won't take anywhere near as long next time.
I'll keep my eyes peeled on Ebay for a dash and post here when one is listed.

Toby,
I like your dash, perhaps you should keep that one in the car!
Seriously though, looking good so far.

Hi,
I've just taken mine apart and the screen switch bulb holder is detachable from the switch itself. It's this that provides the other contact in the centre.
Photos to follow.....

Re: WANTED No Cracks Grey Dash (top)
Ive just seen this one, unfortunately to be picky it has a strange mark on the front, not sure what it is, i guess it could be repaired! Hi, Yes, it's a real shame about that mark, but without it the dash wouldn't be priced at under £70. I suppose you could stick a Ford badge over it or something? ...

I've got a machine polisher at work, but I don't think I'd get away with polishing my exhausts on it. The light relays a little less inconspicuous :) Neil, You're probably right. I've just watched an instructional video on Youtube. It can be done at home with an electric drill and a bench grinder, ...

Re: 2.8 exhaust opinions welcome
Very nice Andrew. How much would they charge to do my exhaust? I might have a go at my light relay before Simply Ford. If I get a few spare hours :? Neil, I'm not sure about cost, to be honest. I got two headlight relays, bonnet spring and ignition amplifier polished for a nominal cost. I'm not sur...

Hi All, Perhaps the switch and connector were changed sometime during the production run? Or perhaps mine and Ian's cars have been fiddled with in the past. I'm in no doubt that your car will be exactly as it was when it left the factory, but I guess we can't be so sure. I'll have a look at mine lat...
