Got to pull my finger out and get the Capri finished, my daughter has informed us she is getting married and would like my Capri as the wedding car, her boyfriend has got a mk1 Escort and his brother has got a Cosworth Sierra. Should make for some interesting wedding photo's.

Easy way to tell, original wings fit, pattern wings don't.

I fitted pattern wings on mine earlier this year and believe me they were a pain in the ass to fit, you certainly need a lot of patience. If your old wings can be repaired then go down that route, as for removing the wings you need to drill the spot welds out.

Worked for 30 years in the fire dept of a large chemical refinery, faced a few big fires in that time but had the pleasure of driving the Dennis fire appliance. These days I work in social care.

Not 100% sure but I think they could be M6 bolts.

Sorry to hear that mate, I was in the same the position in 2004 when the company I had worked for 30 years went bang, I lost my pension and finished up getting the redundancy from the goverment.

Get a piece of plywood and knock some 4" nails through it then put it on the seat then when the scum bags break in and sit on the seat it certainly immobilisers the scum.

Good idea is to number the plug leads before you take them off.

Has anyone removed and fitted a new sunroof seal without taking the sunroof panel out, if so was it easy to do. ?

Well I was hoping to be there today but I have been struck down with man flu.

I have been to this show for the last 3 years and I must say it's always been a brilliant show. I am hoping to be there again this year.

At our local tyre depot it's a 5 foot length of pipe on the wheel brace. lol
