I think you'd be hard pushed to find a genuine Ford one, but they make reproduction manifolds?

For Sale - Wheel Clamp

Not sure if it's of any use to anyone but I got given this wheel clamp the other day - used to be on my grandparents caravan that they no longer have. It's a pretty hefty bit of kit! Adjustable, two keys etc £20 to whoever wants it, ideally collection from Wycombe/Aylesbury area, or can bring to CRa...

Currently the time limit is set at 30 minutes which does not seem unreasonable although we are prepared to consider changing it if enough users really see a benefit. :agree: Keep it how it is now. It's not the end of the world if we have to take a few seconds to review a post before submitting it. ...

The nuts are ridiculously delicate - I managed to snap the bolt in half when the wing was off once - definitely don't rush!

Re: Leaking Rocker Cover

First change would be the gasket - much cheaper at a few quid rather than a whole new cover! :)

Capri Club sell the gasket and oil filter for a relatively reasonable price, or carparts4less do super cheap ones!

Re: 1979 Capri 2.0 "Ghia"

Have a look at this link from the main page - might be of help http://www.fordcaprilaser.co.uk/page144.html Also, the Anti roll bar should go through the track control arm with a bush around it and should be straight when looking at it. If it is tilted to one side or not close enough to the middle t...

Re: 1979 Capri 2.0 "Ghia"

:agree:
I recently had a similar issue of a horrible clunking noise going round corners - one of the bushes on the ARB into the TCA was out of place as the old bush had worn

One new superflex kit from Martin (Caprigear) later and was sorted :)

I did get a NOS headlight too but the idiot postman smashed it! It’d lasted all that time in its box sat on a shelf only for some ham fisted moron to ruin it.

Re: Front spot lamps.

I do have some NOS spotlights - think they are from a period Granada but look roughly the same as the circular spot lights some other people have fitted

Changed my mind and never fitted them to mine so if they might be of interest let me know :)

I'd be willing to pick that up for your Danny if it helps, not too far away. (for nothing of course) Obviously we would then have to organise a courier to get it to you, not sure how much they would charge? But it is an option if you wish to look into that. Thanks for the kind offer Paul - I'll loo...
