it did not spin all the time ;) the axle was fine it was just that at higher speeds 70+ it was screaming its tits off........but was very good fun away from the lights etc........... have found the 3.09 ratio axle from the 2.8i is a lot better overall.............fuel consumption also dropped a bit ...

several fords had wheels that looked like the brookland alloys, these are sometimes sold a capri brookland wheels....these will not fit without spacers.
the ones that u have could be the real deal or they could be the ones that need spacers to fit,thats why we need the numbers from the rims

get the numbers off the alloys. then we will be able to tell you if you have the capri ones or the ones that were fitted to other fords.
i did say this to you on your other post.

as all capri's are at least 24 yrs old and they ain't caught fire............if it ain't broke don't fix it but saying that.............. i am modding my own in projects moved battery to boot fuse board is now inside the car extra fuses extra relays etc........... electric fuel pump electric fan.......

welcome this needs to be in the q and a page there will be numbers stamped on to the rims,need to know these numbers first. one of them will be an ET number......deffo need this as there are a number of different et numbers,depending on what the rims came off. hopefully they came off a capri.......i...
