i have the original 4 spoke ford rs alloys fitted to my 1.6 laser (sorry, i hope i've described them correctly) the problem is that the paint is flaking off them, does anyone know how i can "restore" them to showroom condition??

As i also do not like wrecking old cars to save others, where can i get these discs from and will these disc for a 2.8i fit a 1.6?

does anyone know if vented discs will solve the problem? (i belive they are the ones with lots of holes drilled in them)

thanks for your advice, I have to say that the manifold also glows red hot in the daylight when the car is running, does this still apply?
she has difficult in ticking over as well.

capri shelves crack really easy so yours may have been removed to save some street cred!
you can get stronger reproduction shelves from MWR capri in Burton on trent, excellent place to get new bits from.

Make sure all the leads on top of your coil are clean and making good contact, it worked on my 1.6 very recently and now there is no problem at all.
