Must be spring!

[/img]So the the sun was out today, bit of a breeze but quite pleasant. We'd nipped out for the essential shopping - cat litter (got to keep him happy, never know when he might come in useful eh Jason!), I'd cut the grass so then what - everything is shut. So I took the cover off the 2.8 to end her ...

Re: The Chinese coronavirus

the " I will carry on as usual" brigade wouldn't be able to! What's it like in other people's areas? The reason I ask is that people around here don't appear to have changed their habits very much, if at all. I haven't seen anybody wearing a facemask in the street, for example. Perhaps people in mo...

That horrible toilet roll was called Izal, apparenly you can still get it  We were with an older friend in Scotland last year and she wanted Izal for a comb and paper Kazoo. She reckons its the best paper for the job (excuse pun) but neither she nor we could find it on sale anywhere. I'm not...

Wasn't looking forward to it at all but actually more interesting than I anticipated. We helped put away a drug smu...

Re: Series/Box Sets Worth Watching

Firstly, I’m not suggesting anybody should stockpile DVD’s.... Conversely I thought COBRA looked like it would be good but was rubbish (although Newton Aycliffe got a mention!). So what’s worth watching that people may not have seen? (Mods - lengthy ban please for anyone who suggests Love Isl...

Re: The Chinese coronavirus

There was an old lady stood looking around totally bewildered and seemingly unable to find anything she needed We've been saying, not in a nasty way, that is as well my Mum passed away a couple of year's ago. Although she basically looked after herself, with carers keeping tabs, she had dementia. I...

Chap from our office went to Italy last Sunday as it was already booked and paid for. He's spent most of his time there making arrangements to get back and will then have to shut himself away on his own for two weeks :banghead:

The real thing provokes so many emotions I try not to think about them and the men and women who built, fought and died (and survived ) in them unless Im in a wee corner somewhere by myself . WW...
