Easy way of identifying the group anyone?
Those that signed up originally can have a laser forum note in their window, but not until I get there of course!

Re: Possible ingition issues

I have found with my timing light that it makes a difference if the part that clips on the plug lead is sitting on the top of the lead rather than hanging below if you follow so might be worth changing the way you have connected it and trying again.

Re: Agreed value insurance help

In order to not pay out in the event of a claim, would the insurance company need to prove that you knew about any modifications? That would be easy if you didn't declare a massive set of aftermarket wheels, for example, but I can't see how insurance can be declared invalid for unknown engine inter...

Re: Agreed value insurance help

ok, thanks guys! So I should declare twin choke webbers, carb, race cam. How detailed do you go? Is it more engine-based than cosmetic, new wings etc? It is supposed to be modification to original spec Daisy. So wings are just a repair but the carb and cam should be mentioned but I would be surpris...

Sainsbury meet Sunday

Who hopes to meet at Sainsbury A3/A245 junction pre Brooklands on Sunday just so we know who to wait for. Suggested time is around 9 - 9.30.

I believe there should be me, Andrew, Jason, Cosmic, Danny

Anyone else?

The Goblin Works Coyote 5.0 V8 Capri is booked in for runs up Test Hill. :D

Something not to be missed methinks...

Re: why?

I guess I'm of similar age group to most on here, and I love this forum I get a lot from it and it is fun and enjoyable, but reading the grown ups complaining and moaning about this and that and how bad this or that is really brings me down. It's human nature Paul. Most of us can't help it. I'm out...

- and look - an apostrophe in the plural form of a noun!!! I`m... speechless. :D As a chap who will perhaps 'appreciate' this one I've just been reading a letter to a client from Head of Operations at Teachers' Pensions that twice says: "If you've got any queries" Clearly a grasp of grammar was not...

Nice to see so many capris, I notice mine was captured in one of your photos too (B54odx).

What were to awards and who won them? Good turn out and well done all.
The one with water in the headlight

Is that a Skyline engine, someone was asking. Looks an interesting conversion :)

I don't want to sound ungrateful about your photography efforts, but is there a photo available of Andrew's (arnoldhar) incredible S? Congrats on your award, Andrew, by the way. What a fantastic achievement. Andrew. I'm afraid not Andrew. It was rightly getting a lot of attention at the time I was ...
