Re: What exhaust?

Hi, http://www.sportex-exhausts.com/Ford-Capri-Performance-Exhaust-System-TF1/cat/4/sub/0/subsub/0/product/61 I was looking at that one if the link works. That's a 2 inch one. I want a nice wow listen to that car sound not a look at that old bag of shite trying to be cool. Yeah, they're alright, a f...

Re: What exhaust?

Hi, What do you guys have on your capri's? I've got a Sportex 2" on mine. It's got a nice throaty roar when revved. IMO the 3" tailpipes are too load on tickover and drone too much on the motorway. Also, I think it looks a lot more discreet than the 3" drainpipes. Nice polished chrome...

Hi,
It's down to preference. If it's hard to get into the gaps, I'd use the spray.
All the best,
Andrew.

Re: Classic Car Insurance

Hi, Didnt have the box fitted cuz its the worse idea ever imo. :agree: I was following a car about a week ago which was driving along incredibly slowly. It was going through the 30MPH limits at around 20MPH, and got up to a speedy 40MPH on the national speed limit roads. :x There was a sign in the b...

Hi, I use peter best on my Mercedes and they have no 0800 number, and when I put on another driver it was only £15 for a admin charge, and so much easier to deal with and I have just put my capri over to them and they are doing it for £125 including all mods and agreed value. Re: Classic Car Insurance

Hi, Best to phone them and talk about your specific needs and any clauses and small print Thanks for the advice, all the clauses and stuff are a minefield. I don't want to spend all day on the phone answering endless questions, so I'll phone around the companies once I've selected 2 or 3 of the best...

All the best,

Edit: Just got a multicar quote. Don't think I'll bother with them, almost twice as much as I'm paying individually!

Classic Car Insurance

Hi Everyone, It's insurance renewal time and I have just spent the whole afternoon getting insurance quotes. What a nightmare! Hi, But out of interest, if one does go the Polly bush route, is it recommends to replace all bushes will the Polly variety at the same time, or is it ok to do them bit by bit over time? Cheers I can't see a problem with replacing the bushes bit by bit as long as you replace all the ones in a certai...

Hi, Just out of interest Eurocarparts have a `budget` site `carParts4less` , same layout, same address, same everything - even come with Eurocarparts labels, but often 20% cheaper. Plus free postage. Well worth looking at I doff my cap to you, Sir! Same part for under £18 on this site! Great stuff, ...
