Re: Card cloning

Hi,
Sorry to hear this has happened to you, what a nightmare.
This happens quite a lot these days, as Steve says it seems to be at petrol stations a lot of the time. What can you do? Credit to Barclays for being on the ball.

Re: Sauces from KFC

I never buy all that anyway, no1 would move if they listend to everything that gives you cancer. There is that view I suppose. However, I've put a lot of hard work into my car. I don't want to die and someone else will get all the benefit of it all. :) Well, that's cheered everyone up..... Andrew.

Just to prove I haven't made this up. From the HSE website:

Hi,
Exactly. If you're going to use the car you can't wrap it in bubblewrap.
If you're not going to use the car you may as well save your money and buy a Norev 1:18 model instead. :)

Hi,
Doesn't contact with contaminated oil cause dermatitis amongst other things? Prolonged contact if you're a mechanic etc can cause skin cancer in extreme cases.
Always the best policy to rubber up beforehand..... ;)

Re: corsa b steering conversion

Hi,
Tickover say this about roller top mounts:

"Roller top mounts, especially adjustable camber, caster ones. They either introduce a steering shake or a vibration, depending on make, and do very little to lighten steering."

That doesn't stop them stocking them though! :)

Re: new (ish) car

Hi, Fantastic Capri if the mileage is genuine. A once in a lifetime opportunity if someone wanted to buy an immaculate car to trailer to shows. This car sold on an Ebay auction just before Christmas, I think, for under £10K. The seller was a trader, so was the buyer by the look of it. All the best, ...

My moms car is just one annoying bag of shite. It has no handbrake its a button and i dunno if the brakes on or not. It dings when you aint got a belt on, the doors open, the clutch isnt dipped when you start it. It's not a Vauxhall Insignia is it? I had to move one at work the other week and hated...

Hi,
Off topic, but I hate those cars that have a buzzer for everything. Do I need to be told that I've got my lights on and I've taken the key out of the ignition? NO! :x

Re: lets talk fuel

i wish they still did leaded Hi, Unbelievably, there are still garages that sell leaded petrol. I saw one myself when I went to Leicester a few months ago. It was £2.40 a litre though! Some people have voiced concern about the percentage of ethanol in V-power. I think I'm right in thinking that all...

In a post some mentioned they used v power fuel. I was told not to use it as it makes the car sluggish. Whats your opinion on using it? Im nearly out of fuel and if its good to use i might try twenty quid worth. Hi, I use V power, but that's mainly because my local garage is Shell. Some people say ...
