Whether it's noticeable or not depends on which part of the car you are spraying. If...

Just to add a footnote, according to the Jeremy Walton book, the wheels are "Ford SVE reworked Wolfrace Sonic wheels (centres thickened)".

I was waiting for your comment on that one Andrew... Well, I hate to disappoint people.......... I've just noticed the wheel nuts on the green car in the photo. The pepperpots look much better with the black wheel nuts, so that it looks like there are twelve holes, not just the eight outer ones. Ju...

Hi,
I'm partial to a nice Walnut dash on the right car. It wouldn't fit in right with the sportier 2.8 image though.

Re: whats the recommend gearbox oil for a type 9

while your at it why not drill ,tap , and fit a drain plug. Hi, I've been reading a bit about this in old CCI magazines. Whilst the idea of a drain plug is convenient, the CCI technical expert does not recommend this course of action. If the gearbox needs to be drained in future, it's probably easi...

Tom,
I think that you need to drop the headlining to give you access to the cable and mechanism.
It may need adjusting and/or cleaning out.
There is a bit of a write-up here that might be of some use:
