Re: Darts Farm Classic Car Show, Topsham

Hi Nige,
That looks like a great little local show. Sometimes these smaller shows can throw up some real surprises with rare and unusual cars.
Your car looks fantastic, as do the other XROC cars.

Re: Door Lock: Removal and Reassembly

Nice ‘how to’ Andrew. When I did mine, I removed the barrel but left the key in with all the sliders intact & soaked it in WD40. This takes it to a whole new level. Full marks for your patience :applaud: Thanks Rob! It was a great excuse to slink off to the garage for a couple of hours! :D Andrew.

Re: Ronin

Which chase did you watch? There were two - an Audi chasing a Citroen XM through the backstreets of Nice and the Paris chase. On balance I think the Nice chase was the best IMHO. I must have watched the chase through Paris with a Peugeot chasing a lady driving a BMW. That was good enough, but if th...

Re: Ronin

Never even heard of this film, but just watched the chase on YouTube. Brilliant! :D

As a rule, chases in new (ish) films don't compare with those from classic films, but this one bucks the trend.

Re: New Car Programme on TV Soon

I see the flipping bangers boys are up to their old tricks! I can't see the logic of spending money on new bumpers and other items, and also getting the wheels powder coated, once they'd made the decision not to finish the Beetle and to sell it as a project. I wouldn't have thought that they'd recou...

Re: Door Lock: Removal and Reassembly

:applaud: :applaud: First that was a great “ How To “ and the famous Tea Towel , so did you swap over the locks from both doors ? But the dirt that’s 30 odd years worth . Yes No WD40 in them locks . Also they will last another 30 years . Well done a good job there Sir Thanks Jason. This is the repl...

Door Lock: Removal and Reassembly

Unlocking the Secrets! :D A brief how-to guide on removing, stripping down, cleaning and reassembly of door locks. I decided to write this guide after I had a small issue with one of my door locks. Something had gone wrong with the lock, meaning that the key could not be fully inserted. After a bri...

Looking good, Jason. The shiny screws match the other blingy parts you have under the bonnet. Keep up the good work! :D

That's it, yes. Hopefully they will show it being sold later in the series. That S will look superb once it's finished.

this is by far the best car programme that has been on T/V for a while

Agree with your points about the Escorts too.
I seem to recall the Eastenders Capri was for sale through Mathewsons a year or so ago, that tallies with your thoughts on when the filming took place.

It has 3 static dash lines and whatever I press nothing works!
Help!
