Re: Oh took my olde engine apart...

yeah, really not the way to act on this board. look at the number toms posts, and then look at yours. nuff said. and if you want to contact some one, about buying something, generally PM's are used. "fooking" understand?

Re: Which engine to install in my project?

my old man had an rx8 for 2 years and i was lucky enough to get put on the insurance... not bad for a 19 year old at the time, anyway, i loved the car, and loved the engine, it sounded completley different to any engine you have ever heard, especially at 8500 RPM, (redlines and 9,500 max is 10,000) ...

Re: Which engine to install in my project?

sadly my engine isnt running as of yet, my estimate of 190 BHP is backed up by the many other people on the kit car forum im a member of having reached around that figure with the same/ or similar set up to me. its all in the size of the injectors and using the correct map on the ECU, but i really w...

Re: Which engine to install in my project?

ive put a 2.0 zetec engine in my kit car, running it on throttle bodies off a yamahaa r1 with an emerald mappable ecu running the ignition and fueling, will give about 190 brake, rev like a mother trucker, its quite a light and compact engine aswell, its a good engine.

Re: Wings n Things..

there are loads of reproduction capri wings on ebay, i went down this route and it was a nightmare, they look a bargan at 70 quid, but the quality of the panel was crap, it had a large dent, and ripples all over it from the old press that was used, out of my whole restoration which included strippin...

Re: Help with agreed value!

if your really realy serious about an agreed valuation of your car, then get an independant valuation company to do a valuation on your car, and then use that as leverage with your insurance company, they cant argue against what a professional says its worth after an inspection. i had a run inn with...
