If I come, it might be in a bmw, and might be late on saturday. No, my name isn't Glyn.

Good work! I just put tippex marks on my dash, but it's good to see how it should be done.

Hey, don't take it personally, just having a crack. I'm sure she'd print anything she could if you asked her. I'll post a link to her website soon.

You coming to Crap? I'll buy you a beer.

Re: Creaking from the rear

Bloody hell, I've just used search to find this problem, then realised I asked the same question 2 years ago! Really annoying me now, x frame to come off and I'll report back.

Re: Forum T Shirts

Didn't have anything specific in mind. I suppose the "LASER" (ford font) and "PAGE", or a silhouette of a capri with "fordcapriforum.com" above or below it.

Or for the real die hards, Mark Swetnams capri in front of the castle (with Mark's permission of course).

Forum T Shirts

Okay, before you lynch me, I did consider putting this in the for sale, but technically I'm just getting interest, and I am a donator. My wife has set up a t shirt printing company, and I wondered if there would be any interest in getting some laser forum t shirts made for the show season? Her set u...

Re: Webber 32/36 problem ?

Also, and talking from experience, the brass screw at the very base of the carb can be removed to expose the idle jet. I got a bit of grit in mine once, cause all sorts of problems.

Re: wiring the 2.0 pinto

Ah, and when I got mine, the colours never quite matched any diagram I could find, so some spade connectors and a bit of trial and error might be needed. You can probably work 3 of the 6 out, was a long time ago now so can't really remember.

Re: iffy fuel gauge

There's no need to undo the speedo and oil pipe. :agree: Definitely no need to undo oil pipe. If you were pulling cluster out to replace a gauge for example, the speedo unclips easily enough to give more room, but this is not needed to do bulbs. (If you decide to try LEDs, remember they`re polarise...

Re: DASH CAMERA ADVICE

I have to say, I've seen one of the cheap £40 amazon ones in action, and it's actually quite impressive. I can't comment on the durability of it, but if it only lasts a year, £40 isn't bad. Other end of the scale, my friend has one of the latest gopro cameras. Also very impressive, but at ten times ...

I don't get dice, I just don't get it. Up there with spinner wheels and bike handle bar tassels IMO. And, not being funny Kid, last time I checked, it's 2014. Did you really log onto a forum, type your username, password, click the right buttons, and type out the whole question "where do I buy....

Re: Ebay fools

There are some proper nutters on ebay. I randomly got sent a master system games console one day. I hadn't bought one, nor had anyone else in the house. I wrote to the sender, and got a text a week later. "Oh sorry, sent it to the wrong person. £30 it's yours, otherwise send it back and I'll pa...

The term "racist" means you discriminate against someone/people due to their race. Although I hate the term "race". We're all bloody part of the "human race", so surely there is only one race?

Re: Chassis number

Hi Nick, In a nutshell, no. Not through any official channels anyway. If you know the reg, you can plonk it into the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry website to get CC and tax dates etc... But the V5 document number and vehicle VIN are classed as personal data to the registered owner, and so therefore are cover...
