Re: rear axle alignment
Mine is like that, about 10 - 12mm off centre, always has been from new, never came up in an Mot and back in the day, the main dealer couldn't find anything wrong. It's always bugged me though. I've got to tackle diff pinion seal soon so while it's off the ground I may take the opportunity to slacke...

Re: 2 tone paint on my injection.
Hi, there was also Glacier blue over Caspian blue option and Caspian is darker than Glacier blue. You can find out body color from 3 sources: 1. When you lift spare wheel cover in the boot, there should be on left side sticker (or two if it's two tone color) with name of paint and with XSC code. 2....

Re: 2.8 ATE brake master cylinder strip down Q
Hi Jon, So did the foot pump method, blanking off other ports work to extract the piston? I'm at the same puzzle now, I'm surprised pushing the piston in and letting it fire back under spring pressure is not enough to push it out! Really feels like its against some other stop, like you, stop pin is ...

Wanted - Cross member cable clips
Hi,
Anyone know where I can get new or good condition used of the two cable clips that go on the back of the crossmember holding the thick red starter cable? So far, web searches haven't thrown up any like these.

Gearbox tunnel foam pad
Hi,
I'm after a replacement, new or at least good condition, foam pad that goes between the gearbox and tunnel, mine has crumbled and disturbing it while taking my engine out, the foam has fallen apart. Anyone got one to sell, or a sketch of what it should be so I can make a new one even?

Re: 2.8i Oil Cooler Tightening Torque
Many thanks guys. I didn't find that, or missed it, in my supplement. Maybe it depends on print version, mine is nearly as old as my car. Makes sense as I recall the sleeve was rock solid to get off, the end nut not so bad. I've got all new seals and copper washer so I'll go with your info, thanks a...

2.8i Oil Cooler Tightening Torque
Hi,
I'm after the correct torque for the oil cooler shaft to block and also the nut for holding the extension hanger for the oil filter, unless I've missed it, I cant see it in the manual or supplement. Anyone got an idea of what it should be or what has worked for them?

2.8i Power Steering Rack Input Shaft Dust Cover Search
