Hi,
yes rocker covers, oil pan, heads and engine block are grey on my 1984 5 speed 2.8i.

But if I'm right 4 speed 2.8i had black rocker covers, so maybe engine was also black. But I don't know...

Hi, so Motomobil struts are on Capri. They are made by Triscan and it looks like they are made specialy for Motomobil, because on label there are under part number written "Motomobil". Struts are 620N. Force feels higher than with Tickover struts but not big difference. Looks ok, they open...

I notice from your profile pic that you have fog lights, what switch is fitted? Hi Arthur, foglights on my Capri were installed in 2007 when guys in Spain restored it (before I bought Capri). Switch was not original and was on wrong place next to warning lights switch and fader front/rear speakers ...

Not yet. End of 1 year warranty is far away.

I don't know, but first you could maybe try CapriGear or Tickover if they have original ones in working order. They also know if you need anything else.
And original ones will surely fit to cut outs in shelf supports! Not sure if these from ebay also fits...
