Hi,
here are photos from today's meeting in Kovo Zoo (=Metal Zoo). It's the zoo, where all animals are made of metal. ;)

:agree: Looks very good, but for me better on original wheels. Which are 13 inch according to photos on their web, not 15" like Harry said.

Re: Auto box changing up too soon

...is that a massive ballache of a job or can I do it myself? It's not difficult, but that part on carburetor side could be challenging. When I did it on my 2.8i I had to remove all mounting bracket (on throttle plate side) with cable out of car and did it in vice in garage. Here is manual from Hay...

Re: Auto box changing up too soon

So you had throttle pedal blocked on the floor by something, saw that carburettor isn't fully open, then unscrewed adjuster (red arrow) all way out to try open carb fully and still you pull the cable out that much? It's a lot!

Re: Tailgate Struts

Maybe it's when it stops suddenly at the end of the travel when the damage occurs? Yes, it could be. But many new struts have damping on last few centimetres (also my new struts), so it go slow to end position. Or it could also happen when you try to close tailgate and you have to force it against ...

Really??

pbar wrote: Mon May 23, 2022 6:46 pm I'm sure you've checked, but is your throttle cable set properly Danny? If you hold/prop the pedal to the floor with a piece of wood or similar, do you still have any play at the carb end? It's worth a check.
