lol - totally agree but its a very unusual retro thing.

It has 6 toggle switches, map reading light, 1 speaker, one tine speaker, slots for coins. 2 pop-out sections for more lights

At a Car Boot near me I managed to get fold of folders full of the actual Ford Mechanics manual including hours to jobs etc for the Mk2 - loads of pics for each job - I also have loads of the microfiche for the mk2 too. I hope to scan them in sometime but i need a better scanner!

Can of worms by the looks of if - take a look at some of the restoration pages and you will see similar cars with rust in the same places. You will end up needing to respray it too with that many panels needing changing.

got a spare fuel pump Tom? - worth swapping that over to eliminate it, had the same problem myself - if i flooded the carb it ran for a while but would cut out.

Nothing much Pete - funds are tight but i just want to restore it to a point that I don't need to throw it away or consider getting a new shell etc... going to stick with the RV8 conversion, but the engine is a little special ;) probably stick with the satin black paintwork but we will see on that...

well i have managed to cut the back roll cage struts easily enough, but the rest are pretty difficult to get to :wank: I can get halfway through them then i am resorting to the junior hacksaw :banghead:. I would guess that i am halfway through doing the cuts but there is going to be a lot of grindin...
