Re: Rear anti rollbar adjustment for 1 inch drop

Thank you all for the advice, will certainly look into both the axle location kit and the front strut brace (they always make sports cars look a bit more "rough and ready" don't they!) Will probably be needed for a cheeky Le Mans/Spanish/Andorran road trip i have coming up in June! Greatly...

Re: WANTED- Blank Mk3 VIN Plate

Thanks for the thread, i did check it and unfortunately the product is no longer available. Quickly checked Ebay again and one has just been put up.
However it is a auction and id honestly just prefer to buy it as soon as. Asked the seller so we'll see.

Re: Rear anti rollbar adjustment for 1 inch drop

i have thought about that kit, will have a better look when funds allow. Have you installed it yourself? if so, how much of a difference did it make from a handling perspective?

Re: Rear anti rollbar adjustment for 1 inch drop

Beg your pardon, i was talking from a general point of view.
I am yet to reassemble the ARB and was afraid of it sitting too low or too high for the set up. i'll check the very warn Haynes manual later for a bit more insight.
I appreciate the advice.

Re: Rear anti rollbar adjustment for 1 inch drop

Ah i see, doesn't seem to be too big of a deal when swapping ride heights. i guess i'll eye it up, see how much of an affect it has on the handling and then dial it in afterwards.

Thanks again!

Re: Mk3 Headlining Removal

Ah great, don't mind doing a bit of trimming, have too much of a phobia of breaking the windscreen and finding a replacement

Thank you for the advice,

Mk3 Headlining Removal

Hi All, My headliner is looking a bit tired and cut up, I'm planning to replace it fairly soon if funds allow. After a bit of inspection, it seems like i may need to remove the windscreen in order to replace it, gulp. Is this the case or is there a way around it? Mine is the sunroof model if this ma...

For Sale: 1.6 mk3 Atlas axle

Hi All, I have a 1.6 Atlas axle for sale that came from a 1.6 laser. Normal specs apply, haven't messed around with the gearing at all. Both ends spin freely and there are no bearing problems, however the exterior could do with a referb. Drums, pads and braking hardware are included in the price. As...

Hi,

The wheels were made in 1986 and originally came from a 1.6 mk3 Capri Laser.
