Re: New Capri Book

Sounds like a good event, I went to the Dunton one, didn’t realise there was this one as well. I saw CCI email saying there was an additional book called Capri 50 but when I visited the site, I couldn’t buy it separately, you had to get the car you always promised yourself with it.. Are you looking...

Re: Spares Free and For Sale

Send a chap called Martin otherwise known as CapriGear on here, a PM

He might be able to help you with some or all of your parts

Or just post here to get in touch, might be beneficial to you both 👍

Re: *Wanted*Tailgate wiper motor plastic trim cover

@ lord flashheart, I bought the book & loop and fitted the trim cover. Absolutely fantastic, thank you!! Recommend to anyone looking to buy the replacement from Capri club, it’s so authentic you don’t notice the difference. My original almost disintegrated it was a mess! Glad you got it all sorted,...

Re: New Capri Book

I got mine direct from Darren at the Dunton event, didn't give the postage a thought. Originally it was going to be a ring bound jobbie but the Warley event & the cars that turned up were worth the extra efforts to make it a proper bound job. Bless him, he worked bloody hard to organise the Capri si...

Re: New Capri Book

That's exactly right mate, as everyone who attended the event entered the lawn, a photo was taken of each of the cars. All the proceeds went to charity so it was a win win. It was the biggest turn out of MK1's I can recall seeing. Never to be repeated event as the Ford HQ is being knocked down for h...

Re: *Wanted*Tailgate wiper motor plastic trim cover

Have a search around for 3M Hook & Loop, its works like Velcro but is much tougher. https://www.hookandloop-direct.co.uk/3m-dual-lock You can buy it in various rolls / sizes of the interlocking teeth if you see what I mean. I have used this to mount a cb on the dash of our Jeep Wrangler in some pret...

Got it, thanks Andy :D

Best laid plans & all that with the parking, I had hoped to put faces & cars to forum names but that plan pretty much dissolved too, still didn't detract from a memorable day out ;)
