Picking up on this again from last year ........Just done the annual dance with the AA, this years renewal price £218 !!!! Called the renewal number, picked the option to discuss my renewal / thinking of leaving us, £159 a tad more than last years £146 but with 3 cars & a motorbike between me & SWM...

Just a wild thought, isn't there a vacuum pipe connected to the brake servo that if perished or has a hole in it, can not only give braking performance issues but also could bugger up the mixture side of things ? Yes Danny its where I got my bits from, they were very helpful, told them what I had, Ford C3 box in a 1981 3.0 Capri. They are a bit old school so you have to ring them up, the parts man advised me what I needed & ordered & paid for the parts over the phone ;) Parts arrived quickly to my work addre...

I got the collectors edition of the first book & was hoping to get a copy of the Capri 50 collectors edition at Warley but they were only being sold as a bundle, have looked online at Porters Press but again only available as a bundle. Anyone know how I get a copy of the Capri 50 collectors edition...

Has it got points & condenser or points replacement ?

When I first got mine it had a lumenition system fitted back in the 90's, found that when it got warm it died & got progressively worse at restarting. Stripped it out & put points replacement system in

Ford C3 autobox Transmission definitely has a filter. Put a new one on mine & new ATF when Biscuit got restored ;)
