If your happy with the brakes , apart from the leak and the pedal to the floor thing , both of which could reasonably be blamed on the master cyl , then I would remove cyl and check for rust pitting on cyl wall. If no pitting ( or other damage ) then go for the seal kit and bleed the brakes . If th...

When you're re-fitting the glass into the slider mechanism again, make sure you grease up the plastic roller and the runner part at the bottom of the glass to try and avoid it happening again! Just did the replacement of the coupling myself a month ago, mine didn't look as bad as yours but I was told many times not to drive the car till that is sorted.

Phheww crisis averted. Managed to pry the door card from the bottom just enough for my hand to push thr glass upwards.

When it rain, it pours! So the kids were playing with the regulator and don't know how they managed to dislodge the glass from the panel that brings it up and down and now it's in there and won't move. Hey mate,I'm no expert but coils were something I looked into quite a bit in the last couple of months. From what I know mk1 capris are ballasted. So best to get a ballasted coil like the Bosch GT40R (R means resistor). The one without ie GT40 is for non ballasted or you'll need to bypass by taking ...
