Re: Knocking noise
Before you get too deep into it, are you sure it's a mechanical clunk, and not a knock being generated by driveline shunt due to the engine faltering? Re: Tracker Locate
Also tracker blocking technology is evolving faster than trackers. They're a total waste of money these days with Capris going for what they do. They hire a brand new Sprinter on Monday with a good tracker fitted by the hire company, they stick a few hundred quids worth of blocker on it and leave it...

I think it's a small amount, unfortunatly they are given the benefit of doubt and we all suffer change  I think all that will implode one...

Re: Newbeeeee .....engine size change 1.6 to2.0
I've had a few screams and a few tears in the rally cammed two litre  last one was racing a Seat then a modded Range Rover Sport joined in. The Range Rover driver was absolutely pissing himself with laughter. My girlfriend was not though, forgot she doesnt like it as much as me. Mine handles gr...

Rarely as in once in ten years and I was trying to keep up with an Impreza. As said just make sure everything is good nick. Yeah ,I could well believe that Tom 😆except for th...

Re: Ford capri laser 2.0 or capri 2.8i ???
I've had both and I'd go with pinto too - lighter, therefore handles better, simpler and easier to work on, cheaper to mend. And If you want more power the modifications are more plentiful and considerably easier to implement. And in stock form theyre MUCH better on fuel.

Re: Ford capri laser 2.0 or capri 2.8i ???
Crank broke, camgear failed, lost pushrods, heads flooded with oil with high pressure oil pump. With tuning camshaft + bettter exhaust gave +15bhb (to 150bhb same as stock 2.8...) and fuel consumption rise to horrible 20l+/100km I agree with the timing gear being weak but the same design is used on...
