Re: Film Quote Quiz 2024! Test your skills, win exclusive prize!

Where's film 7 and why is there a film 4.9? :headscratch: Great work Major, that'll keep people puzzling for a bit! Andrew. Oh whoops! I did all FILM bits in normal text, then went back after posting and painstakingly made them all bold one at a time on a smartphone as quickly possible....

..right, here we go, after weeks of research, I've compiled this list of thirteen taxing films, which YOU must guess the title of, with no other clue than one line from the film in question. It's going to be quite tough, so get your pens out and your thinking caps on, because you win five thousand p...

Re: Misfiring on 5 and 2

He says he's put the timing light on all the leads and ascertained that 2 and 5 are not sparking, so it's something not related to anything forward of the HT leads. Unless I have some fanciful idea of how his timing light works.

Re: Party Time!

You know, any event you have to go to, wedding, party, BBQ, works do, and so on, then you're almost guaranteed a certain list of songs, and these two would be on it! You certainly couldn't go anywhere in the 80's without hearing these. The Birdie Song especially brings back memories of being reluct...

Yes imagine their spirits drop when they see our crumbling roads and exorbitant prices and all the expensive cameras watching them as they make their way to a dentist which has no appointments

Re: Laser + GL and now a 3.0S!

We are all so busy, that's all I ever seem to hear these days, with everything! Longer lead times for stuff, longer on hold times when you phone someone, longer waiting times when you need something. Was at the dentist recently and a guy come in with a problem, he was told there's a wait of around ...

I've no doubt some powerful people out there are trying to control our lives (again), but I've never been sold on 'chem trails'. Look like vapour trails to me.

Geofencing and geotiming

..ever heard of this? No, me neither until just now. We talked briefly in the ULEZ thread that the camera network and philosophy of the ULEZ doesn't seem to make sense.

Well now it does. Have a watch of this.. :o

Re: Valve Seat Recession questions

Could it be damaged teeth on the ring gear? Something I have found on some cars the starter needs to be pushed towards the engine when tightening the bolts/nuts especially on non standard starters. I have seen some starters with over large mounting holes maybe to allow for manufacturing tolerances,...
