Hi all! Does anyone know of alternative rear seat belt reels and straps/stalks that fit the mk3? I cant seem to find them (ebay has had the odd ones but they seem expensive for a mouldy old belt!) Has anyone found an alternative? Does their orientation matter? Mine is an 85 but didnt come with them...

This pic was removing a bush but putting them in is the same set up - the smaller socket should push the bush through more or less to the degree that it is starting to go too far though. Release the pressure slowly and the bush should stay put!

Sounds like fluid isn't coming out of the master cylinder. If you have a helper to hand I would disconnect a caliper input pipe and get them to press the brake pedal to see if any fluid comes through

I've split M16 and Princess calipers without problem. The surfaces need to be clean, the bolts really tight (I hold them in a vice to do it) and use new O rings. Should be OK then.
