I see that his solo album has been finished with the likes of Bryan May helping out and will be released in March. Let's hope it's a suitable epitaph.

Re: Worth complaining

Someone told me the other day that they did the same thing with their Sky TV and now get an insane deal... apparently they get every single channel going and only pay something like £30 a month rather than about £80-100!! I'm tempted to try it with Sky as I've been with them for years and get no fa...

Typical!

Took the Capri out to run a couple of errands yesterday and was stopped by a chap even older than me that had a 2.0S back in the day. He was saying how the Capri was still stylish compared to all the 'boxes' today. Nice man! This morning the wife is have her hair titivated so I thought I could go fo...

Re: Worth complaining

Time for the annual 'I'm leaving' saga! After getting a 'special discount' from RAC last year when I complained I've just had the renewal through for 2018. Premium up £55 or 35% on last year. So I just phoned to cancel and the premium is now less than last year and frozen at that level for next year...

Try Car Builder Solutions. They do quite a few different fuel pipe elbow joints and connectors. They might have something that will do the job. Google them, there's loads of stuff on their website.

Re: Steering coupling rubber bush split ( can I still drive? )

So whilst some of us might be a little surprised at the question he has actually noticed a problem in the feel of the car, looked under the bonnet and asked for an opinion on what has been found so I'm not sure the insults are really necessary. Obviously not many people have found the Christmas spir...

There must be some one offs but as a first general thought the Yanks must be in with a shout for giving the MKII a rather startled look and then deciding to glue a concrete lintel on the front. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4528/24967186038_95c22b9da6.jpg II-mercury-2_8-76 by Peter Smith , on Flickr

Re: Boot wont shut

Thanks guys, there's definitely a discrepancy in the panel gaps so looking like the hinges need an adjustment. I'll have to pull off a bit of headlining and have a butchers. How do you adjust the hinges? You don't need to remove the headlining. There's some adjustment available by loosening the bol...

Might be possible but I would have thought the Capri rack is somewhat narrower.

The ones I have are like this, the long pins push through the seat material and are bent round to clamp them in place

Once in a while Tom. I've attributed it to being out of step and still using IE, which might not be the reason at all!
