Re: What is the point?

The main culprits will be the Volvo engined Fords like the RS Focus. It's basically turbo chatter and bleed from the wastegate. It's made 10x worse if anti lag is fitted. Then you'll get 20ft flames on overrun too. Noisy kin things.

Aww how sweet. Just goes to show how emotional a car can make you and the connections they can make in our lives. My 1st trip in a Capri is a strong memory for me. It wass 1978 and our next door neighbour bought an ex Demo, yellow 2.0GL Mk2 Capri and was proudly wiping it down on the Sarurday he go...

Just saying... If you upgrade your cylinder head to a Vulcan Stage 3 head, you will no longer be required to use any additive, therefore saving money in the .... very long future

Re: Unregistered 280

It probably couldn't be registered now anyway - it would have to pass BIVA and it would probably fail badly due to not being built to todays standards of safety. Good point!! An expensive paper weight then..... There is a fantastic thread on Retro Rides by a guy that built a V8 Sit up n beg F...

Looks great Nick - 145lb are just right for fast road. 190's are a little too stiff for my liking on a road car.

Re: Classic Ford - Santa Pod 2018

It's all good Nick - I'm having a self imposed sabatical. I can't decide whether I want an almost new RHD Mustang or an earlier Fox Body or SN95/Cobra in LHD flavour. I am so undecided I've given myself a good 1-2 years to make the decision whilst I finish the odds n sods off at SmokeEm Towers for ...

Re: Wedding Day Pictures

Bearing in mind it was a good 3/4 years ago that I bought mine, it's possible that Burtons no longer do them but they were deffo DS2500 as just looked up. I fitted them with a new set of stock discs and bedded them in correctly and I couldn't believe how much better they felt. Nice strong bite with...

Re: Wedding Day Pictures

One small but great tip for those of you running a std laser on std brakes - Upgrade your Pads to Ferodo D2500 - Easily as good as a princess 4pot upgrade and a better pedal feel IMHO - all for £70odd - Available from Burtons. (Deffo better than EBC IMHO) Dave I might give these a go mate. Cant see...
