I can vouch for his work, it's very good.
Can you PM me it, tried him on here but probably hasn't logged on it a while. Cheers!

Re: Brake calliper to strut bolts???

Brill thanks!
I saw the ones on burtonpower but misread it, thought they were for 2.8 and 3.0 only. Will get some ordered!

Trying to get these out is a pain arse, and dust shield won’t come off either to be able to drill from front. Why is a simple job never easy. I Fkin hate rust!!!

Brake calliper to strut bolts???

Hi all,

Half way through replacing the discs and the 2x bolts that hold the calliper to the strut have sheered off. Does anyone know the size/length of these bolts?? And is there anywhere I can get them from , diy store etc?

Thanks!

Re: New Daily driver

The Renault Passed the MOT with no advisories!

Had full service, brake fluid and cooling system flushed and its driving a dream. All in all with insurance/service/MOT and buying the thing i've spent just over £750. proper bargain. :lowrider:

Re: Car feels weird lol

Replacing my rear springs immediately improved the ride and handling and made the car sit evenly when parked. I went for CCI single leafs but whatever you get make sure they are good quality ones and fit them using good bushes and shackles. I hope we dont lose Bug. I can agree with him that it's no...

Re: New Daily driver

They used to be a good comfortable car. Worked on quite a few over the years. This one looks nice and is the even rarer 3 door. First job must be cambelt and water pump unless you have proof of it being done recently. Also check rear brakes as cylinders don't last long and rear brake shoe linings c...

Re: Car feels weird lol

Its a shame this thread has turned into a bit of an argument... We should be able to have discussions without trying to get one over on each other. I don't know who's right when it comes to how lasers were put together and the parts issues etc. I've asked some pretty dumb questions on here but never...

Re: Colour coded bumpers?

Cheers, thats one of replies i got saying it was custom. They definitely look horrible with colour coded! Black grill, light surrounds and bumpers is the best look IMO. May consider getting the bumpers stripped and redone black now i know its not some rare option id destroy. The black paints startin...

Colour coded bumpers?

Asked this on a facebook group but you guys are more knowledgeable. Someone on here sent me a picture of my car just after i bought it and it shows it had colour coded bumpers. I can see around the over-riders a little bit of silver underneath the black so they've been repainted. Was this a factory ...

Re: Car feels weird lol

I think the Kilen number is 622000. I'd check it further if you can though, but Googling Kilen 622000 shows a few options for sale. Your local motor factors would most likely get them also, mine got the Kilen coil springs for me, they were not expensive, especially if they let you have them at trad...

Re: Car feels weird lol

I have no experience of them, but I wo...
