Last weekend's meet up in Norfolk

For those who missed out on the camping last weekend near Thetford, Norfolk. We all had a whale of a time, even Michael, the newest Laser Page member. Saturday evening Major Tom noticed a bee bumbling around in the thick grass cuttings in our big gazebo so lifted it on his finger & took it over ...

Re: Annual camping weekend - 30 June , 1 & 2 July

Well it appears that capris just hate me! Fucking cars That's nothing to bother about, I had the engine out of my Pajero (three times) a fortnight back (2nd replacement after the record temps last year fried the original, stuck four hours on the M25 with blocked Dartford Crossing) It still leaks or...

Re: Annual camping weekend - 30 June , 1 & 2 July

 I'm not selling at least until they're up! Currently only down 5% so could be worse haha Hold on tight unless you need the cash desperately - (doesn't include new tyres for the Capri.) Most people wouldn't recognise a Model Y driving past them and don't even know yet what a Tesla is. When the...

Just as a side-note for anyone reading who won't be at the meet up: I'm not really a Tesla salesman on commission, you know me, I couldn't work for anyone these days but I liked the product so much I bought the company  Upcoming events & positive news; Cybertruck release - initially for sta...

Re: Annual camping weekend - 30 June , 1 & 2 July

Good afternoon all and sundry, My lugoles happen to be getting a tad warm. I need a new fuel pipe on the car but otherwise it started fine last week and doesn't look any worse than last year. Re. TSLA shares, I didn't say buy them then sell when they went down. I'm an investor rather than a trader s...

Re: Wheel Balancing

Also consider any wear in the steering rack. I bought a rack from Raldes and it would shake like a spin dryer. The rack was shiny black but the gubbins hadn't been serviced. I de-shimmed it enough to tighten and it was all good.

Perhaps an odd one kicking around in my garage loft but not in your colour.

Major Tom has my number if you want me to have a check for one. I don't get on here very often.

Re: A few questions for the floor.

If you already run a Capri then first fit an Axle location kit. Either A-Frame or X-Frame, both work but it's the fronts of the leaves that need stiffening because they are fitted with heavy duty bushes at the front which can take the strain and the front halves are the main axle locators. The rear ...

A marvellous weekend as usual and many thanks to Major Tom for organising it. Dave, can you please pass on thanks to Deb & Hugh for ferrying the gazebo up there for us.
I'm now looking forward to visiting a Capri Up North Thing as soon as we find a nice slot we can all fit in.

Re: One for Peter

Car sheeted down since the pups arrived end of July. Not much spare time at the moment with my new job in 'The Oil Business' alongside the fish job. I'm having to ration time on the web although I do have a shufty now & then. But more time soon when I retire from fish in a few months :-) The wai...
