gave the indicator stalk connections a good spray with WD40 and moved the connectors and suddenly full beam was back on , the brake lights were a sticking pedal release connection , and i bought a flashing unit multi plug .......but discovered it wont work on the mark 2 . so ive ordered the correct ...

great thread , im about to have a look at mine my front and read indicators light up but don't flash , horn doesn't work and I've now lost full beam , only dipped beam .

guessing by the thread the flasher relay is the cause , power must be getting to them for them to illuminate

Quick one before i search for my haynes manual , Just fired the car up and rear brake lights stay on even with key removed and indicators dont flash is this a grounding issue many thanks

its a pusher so it wall also cool the engine bay as well

fantastic thanks for all your advice , i;m going to order an in line fuse and then i;ll make the connection to the battery , kit looks very good ive installed the fan its a 14" and fits perfectly to the rad

Fitting a Revotec electric fan wiring help

im fitting a Revotec electric fa in a mk2 3000 need to connect into the 12v supply

ideally to the ignition , so when you turn off the fan will be off i dont have a capri wiring manual , appreciate any advice on the wiring

Likewise after getting the capri srted after 3 years and while waiting for the delivery of kenlowe fan and wheel studs , thought i should tackle a really silly dent i accidently did to the car when pushing the other capri into the garage ...doh quite substational .. https://i.imgur.com/JATCAE2.jpg f...

just got the capri going again ,been off the road for two years now heres the dilemma , its a 1977 3 litre on SORN which means its eligible for no TAX or MOT ,,,,, but heres the rub i have filled in form V12 , which must be sent to DVLA with V5 doc to change from PLG to historic class .....but DVLA ...

During lock down , decided to clear out the garage and work on getting the capri fired up after two years ...in prep for last Thursday .. salute the NHS making as much noise as possible .. this was the state of the garage https://i.imgur.com/vntA39t.jpg first had to swap out the cars both on rollers...

Hi I have a 280 interior front seats rear seats , its fairly worn in places , front driver seat has a fairly large hole on the bolster that looks like its been filled , badly and the leather is generally cracked , Also at some time a previous owner has used Green paint to add a sheen over the leathe...
