Not a Capri in the video but click on his profile and it looks like this fella bought himself a mk1 back in November. Enjoy!

Re: How would we manage....

Google seem to have started advertising in their maps navigation app. I was out in the Capri yesterday when the Google maps voice started telling me the benefits of colonic irrigation. Has anyone else experienced this? The adverts I mean  Also, when I arrived at my destination, a friend's C...

Joggler / flanging tool recommendations pls

Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend a reasonable quality tool for me please? Is it worth getting an air tool or is a good hand tool adequate? My compressor runs at 6.35 cfm.

Many thanks,

Dan

Re: Dead on the driveway

Thanks for the reply Andy. It was the battery connection. As I went to disconnect it the hazards came on Serves me right for not changing the crappy connectors that came on the car. They don't fit properly so we're spaced out with aluminium strip from a coke can. Time for some new ones I think!

Dead on the driveway

Hi guys, Having started fine previously today I went to put the Capri in the garage and heard a click followed by nothing. No electrics at all on the car. I assumed a fuse but the box looks okay. Any ideas where to start? I've not done much with electrics so and advice needs to be idiot proof! Many ...

Re: Wanted: drivers seat or bolster shark grey

Thanks for the reply Andrew very helpful as always :applaud: An upholsterer I spoke with said the rear seats wouldn't give enough material to do the section... although to me it looked like it would. Here's the section I'll be replacing just to clarify. I was planning on swapping the piping too. htt...

Wanted: drivers seat or bolster shark grey

Hi guys,

The drivers seat on my car is looking a bit tatty.
Has anyone got shark grey Recaro seats for sale or fabric to redo a drivers bolster? Also what's the going rate for a repair or is it easy enough for anyone with a sewing machine?

Many Thanks,

Dan.

Re: spotted this beauty yesterday...

I was coming back from a trip out on Sunday and spotted a beautiful Escort Mexico that sounded amazing. I was so concentrated on catching him up in traffic it was a mile or so before I noticed we'd joined a little convoy comprising of the Escort, a Bentley, my Capri and a Lamborgini! I assume they w...

Re: Unbelievable.....

Driving on the M25 yesterday with the rain and spray visibility was down to just the car in front. It amazes me how close people want to drive given conditions. I'm off to Devon in a few weeks for a holiday and I'm having second thoughts now! Haha!

Ahh.....someone who agrees with me.... Bracey your Capri looks stunning without the rear bumper mate. Love it ! Its been done to a very high standard by the looks of it and really enhances the rear end a treat. Looks good with the rear tailgate spoiler too :) In fact the whole car looks stunn...

https://s26.postimg.org/jgrmk1bol/20161219_213154.jpg I quite like the smoothed bumperless look but wouldn't do it to a car myself. A previous owner had already done it to mine. I do think personally they look better with something on the front though. Regards the original post it's always a massiv...

Re: Capris, Escorts, Grannies, skids, and angry cyclists.

Looks like the latest meet scheduled for the 29th of this month has been cancelled - shame as I was quite looking forward to it!
Does anyone know of anything else on in the London area or perhaps a little further afield on that Saturday?

Cheers!

Re: Viscous fan for 2.8

Thanks for the advice, I also spoke with Martin who was very helpful. I'll probably need to pull apart the cooling system again to get to the bottom of my issues but it's going to be after Classic Ford at Santa Pod when I have a bit of time.

Re: CCI rear louvre fitting kit

No idea unfortunately. The codes are below if it's any help. O/W stands for 'over wiper' in case you were wondering for the Mk3. Give them a call with the code and Auto-plas should be able to match it up to the parts you'll need. http://s1064.photobucket.com/user/Bracey28i/media/FB_IMG_1493722122206...
