It’s looking like it was June 1983.

I’m going to contact DVLA and see what documentation they will need because I’m hoping that if I can get everything in place, I should be able to get free road tax from January 2024.

Hi guys
My car says on the log book it was registered in 1984 but I believe it was manufactured in 1983.
How do I evidence this for Road tax purposes.

I’m also trying to locate a Capri Club.
I reside in Rotherham South Yorkshire.

One other very simple thing it could be, is your tick over speed too low? Mine was ticking over at about 550rpm and would get hot, just adjusted the bypass screw so it is now on the lower dot, about 750rpm, and is fine now. Guess at too low a speed the water is not circulating properly. Worth check...

Hi my 2.8 injection is overheating when ticking over it runs perfect while the car is not stuck in traffic, once the car is just ticking over I see the temp rising and curse any infront of me and sets of traffic lights do not help my heart rate let me tell you.

Does any one have a plastic screw cover for the center consol on a ford Capri it's about the size of a one pence. Mine got sucked up the Hoover and broke the plastic cover. Mine was hey plastic.
