If your cam wheel is a new aftermarket alloy or steel one .then theres two dots on the wheel so you might have lined it up to the wrong dot.bare in mind im pissed and what do i kno haha

Ive got valvoline in my essex and its been great .im going to change the oil and filter this week and thought id change to millers just to see if theres any difference .il let all know if owts different

I fitted a steel one a while ago .did my head in !
So i changed to alloy top and bottom .i can still hear it but no where near as the steel one

I changed the seals on mine and it didnt work i then sent it off and they resleeved it and its now fixed and works a treat

Haha i honestly thought by pumping the pedal it would get the petrol up from the tank .ffs ive always done this since i had the car lol.

I have an essex engine in my car and it has a manual fuel pump. If i leave the car for say 3 weeks it wont start straight away.i have to pump the pedal at least 15 times to get the fuel up .so if it is left for that long i dont even turn it over until ive pumped it. If i start it up within 3 days it...

Well its been a while.and ive forgot to update the brake bleeding fiasco..so i took all front suspension ,roll bar etc off cleaned it up ,made new brake pipes .shoved it all back on no brakes.master cylinder refurb still no brakes.so i clamped off side flexi hose still no brakes.clamped nearside ,br...

Nice job your doing there.theres nothing better than refurbing and restoring etc.once i start messing with the capri nothing else comes close haha. Keep up the good work

Cheers .well the new seals for the brake master cylinder turned up and fitted.shoved back on .and no pedal when bleeding.its not worked! I phoned a mechanic friend and he said you dozy git my cousin refurbs em.so a quick call and he said they bore it out and put an alloy sleeve in and replace everyt...

Oh and sorted the wiring out to the tank as looked crap with masking tape as in the pic.new fittings and heat shrinkin put on .
