Many weekends through the 80s it was usually a music or horror video

I still have some Quo on VHS, but as available on Youtube no real need for them.

SUV are not for me! Had the converstion with the Mrs recently there is nothing new today that we would want to own. So will be keeping the 2012 1.6 Focus Zetec petrol that does well over 40mpg on a run and is pretty good around town etc. It's old enough not have alot of tech crap you dont need and h...

Magpie, I do yes :) As with Swap Shop and Tiswas everyone seemed to be in one camp or the other. It was Blue Peter for me. Watched them all but Blue Peter and Tiswas were my favourites. Tiswas had some good bands of the time on there, oh and Sally James :D HOW was another good one. Don't suppose th...

Currently we have 6 cars for Sunday 26th. That's great! Hopefully the later than planned date will increase the likelihood of decent weather. If I remember correctly, the last two years were dry and sunny but very cold. Andrew. As I always say Andrew, anything but rain :) Like alot of the country i...

Love the Motorbike show. Millyard is a genius. Sam and Guy are also very clever guys. Henry is unlike most " presenters" he knows his limitations but genuinely loves all things mechanical. Very nicely summed up Martin :) Think this is the video mentioned earlier in this thread https://www...

I like Edd, as Mr Millyard in the other thread seems like a very nice bloke.

Richard Hammond often comes across as annoying on TV, not sure if he is the same in person.

Re: Shed & Buried Classic Cars

Anything that Allen Millyard does is at another level, I watched him make the V6 Kawasaki Two Stroke out of 2 Triples on You Tube. It was the way he started by using a hacksaw on a couple of crankcases and joined them up. Even the Exhausts he makes look like they were made in a Factory not a shed. ...

Re: Weston super Mare Pageant of Transport, March 30/31st 2024

**Update** After much work over the last couple of weeks we are confirming that we will go ahead with the new dates of the 25th and 26th May. Thanks for the heads up, Andy. I will hopefully still be able to make the revised dates, but not all of my favourite local shows have publicised their dates ...

Last time I went on the dodgems, it was the opposite experience, the saddo jobsworth ringleader, or whatever he's called, kept barking orders to anyone breaking formation like a camp commandant. They should have been called the 'drive carefullyems'. I ran into him and broke his ankles, then he coll...

100% agree, makes a change from other shows where the comedy isn't always funny.
