Hi John,
Some great cars there, and nice to see them being driven into the winter months unlike some of us

Re: Who Remembers?

It has already been on GMB that complaints have been raised over re-showing it. I saw this post on Twitter, which sums it up very nicely I think - Mark Lockwood @MarkLock101 26 Nov I can’t get past the argument that every TV has an off button, if you don’t want to watch something, switch it off/ove...

Hi,
Try Martin at Caprigear. I expect he'll have hundreds of them.

Andrew.
:agree:
Martin would be my first port of call for any used and new parts https://caprigear.co.uk/

Re: Who Remembers?

I never thought I'd see the day but That's TV, Channel 7 (regional) and Channel 91 (National) are re-showing the Benny Hill Show. Incredibly funny, far more so than I remember it to be. Some of the sketches (which he wrote) are very clever, never realised he was such a genius. Good to hear they are...

I would expect that the seller would be open to sensible offers though.

Andrew.
I will bid him £100 and if accepted I will offer it on here for £1000

That's always been my problem, I'm just too generous

Re: Most Expensive Capri ?

:agree: This car looks stunning in Modena green, although the HPI check in the listing states that it may not be the original colour. I wonder who restored it? Andrew. I think they were green, white or blue only :headscratch: Looks a nice job but I would never change a colour from it's original on ...

Ahh that smell, would love to have it just one more time.
We still get the smell when it hasn't been used over summer, it takes me right back :D

The one we have now has 2 settings and a thermostat, so set low shouldn't cost too much to run.

Re: FORD CAPRI MK3 FRONT VALANCE

All these daft/inflated prices are doing the scene no good at all. :agree: Anyone who was desperate for an item would find it hard to justify some of these asking prices, no wonder they don't sell for months on end! I know people aren't going to give items away especially if rare, but the greed of ...

Re: Who Remembers?

Who can remember this type of fire/heater, which was very common back in the day, must have cost a fortune to run, but in these days of everything-must-be-electric perhaps they'll make a comeback! https://www.for-sale.co.uk/sh-img/124198375_10165958461900347_5039464432219752346_o_electric%2Bbar%2Bf...

That sounds like Nick!! I fondly remember the Ace Cafe a few years back, the heavens opened and it rained for about half hour - as soon as it stopped raining Nick rushed out with a drying cloth to mop it all down, only for it to rain again ten minutes later  I'm with you Andy - I'd much rather...
